The Festival de Cine y Palabra opened on November 17th at the Congresos de Palacios in Toledo, Spain. This year's festival will include an hommage to Alice Guy.
Alice Guy Blaché, Transatlantic Sites of Cinema Nouveau, 1896-1920, was a three day event sponsored by the University of Maryland, the French Embassy in Washington DC, and the National Gallery.
On Sunday, November 11th at 6 pm, a program of films Alice Guy made in 1912 will be shown at the Museum of the Moving Image. Program curated by Richard Koszarski.
